This new Korean Spicy Pork Recipe is much more simple, easy and quick than my old recipe so I hope you guys try one day!

Korean Spicy Pork (Pork Bulgogi)
Ingredients
8 cloves garlic, chopped
1 red chili, chopped (optional)
2 green onion, white/light green part chopped, green part sliced
1 large yellow or sweet onion, very thinly sliced
2 Tbs. Sempio’s soy sauce (GanJang) http://amzn.to/1KbmPaz
5 Tbs. Sempio’s Korean red pepper paste (Gochujang) http://amzn.to/1KbmF2G
3 Tbs. Mirin (Seasoned rice wine, apple juice can be substituted for mirin)
1 Tbs. Korean red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp. Sesame seeds, crushed with fingers
1 Tbs. Sesame oil
pinch of salt and pepper
1 1/2 lb. Thinly sliced pork butt (Pork shoulder or belly can be substituted for pork butt)
1 King oyster mushrooms, cut into bite size (optional)

You can serve with just a bowl of warm rice, it is super delicious!
My favorite way to eat is though, wrap it with rice in lettuce! I always use mixture of greens and herbs whatever fresh in market.
In this video I used green and red lettuce, raw cabbage, Korean wild sesame leaves(perilla/깻잎) and crown daisy (Tong ho/쑥갓).

EASY OVEN ROASTED VEGETABLES RECIPE
An easy and delicious recipe of how to make oven roasted vegetables! Ready for a healthy veggie dish?! This one is super jummie in wintertime when it’s cold out and you’re in need of good food! It serves as a main or side dish with a nice piece of meat or fish! Munch up!
== INGREDIENTS ==
– 1 parsnip (€1.75~.1 for 1 parsnip)
– 3 potatoes (€0.99~.2 for 5kg)
– 1 carrot (€0.18~.22 for 150 grams)
– 1 broccoli (€0.70~.91 for 1 broccoli)
– 1 onion (€0.19~.25 for +/- 150gr.)
– Thyme (€0.99~.3 per pot of 6 gr.)
– Olive oil
– Pepper
– Salt
== RECIPE ==
1. Make sure you washed all of your veggies, even if you’ll remove the skin later!
2. Start off bij chopping up the potatoes into rough pieces
3. Do the same for the carrot and the broccoli
4. Peel the onion and the parsnip and chop them up aswell
5. Make sure all of your pieces are about the same size
6. Take a baking tray covered with baking paper and spread the veggies on there
7. Cover them with olive oil
8. Season with pepper, salt and thyme
9. Then mix them up untill everything is coated with olive oil and seasoning
10. Place the tray in he oven fora bout 30 minutes at 200°C.
11. And they’re done!!

Easy savory pie with Kale and Camembert for Bastille Day!
To celebrate Bastille Day I invented this savory pie with a typical French ingredient, camembert, and a typical American ingredient, kale. Did you know that kale does not exist in France? They are just starting to sell it.
I made this recipe with Cassandre, from Lovebites, after meeting with her and shopping at a cheese store in Beverly Hills (Check out her video!)
This is the perfect savory pie for Bastille Day or 4th of July or just… Anytime!

Details of the recipe
1 pâte brisée, shortcrust pastry
4 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
1 pound kale
1 tbsp butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup creme fraiche
salt and pepper
and 1 CAMEMBERT!
Sauté the kale in butter, then spread mustard on the pâte brisée. Cut the Camembert into pieces, layer them on the mustard, add the sautéed kale. Mix the eggs, the milk and the creme fraiche, add salt and pepper and pour on the kale and camembert
Bake for 45 minutes in a 350F oven

French Buttercream / Ermine Frosting recipe
I’m not a fan of traditional buttercream frosting which is butter, shortening, powdered sugar and milk or cream that are them creamed together until light and fluffy. This frosting, in my opinion is entirely too sweet, and it’s some what grainy texture is entirely too much for my taste buds to handle.
I came across this frosting recipe in a book I have and it’s a french roux buttercream frosting called “Ermine”. This frosting is easy to prepare, it starts off by making a blonde roux, instead of cooking the flour in the butter, it is slowly dissolved into milk that is heating on the stove. Slowly dissolving this into the milk that is heating works like magic to help you avoid any lumps in this roux.
After the roux is prepared, it needs to poured into a bowl and covered with plastic wrap. The plastic wrap must be pressed against the top of the roux, and then placed in the fridge to cool. Pressing the plastic on the top of the roux, prevents the top of the roux from forming a skin on top.

Ingredients for the Crust:
1-1.5 Cups of Pecans
1 Lb of Fresh, Wet Dates
Directions for the Crust:
Process both ingredients in a food processor until they reach a crust-like consistency.
Press the crust into your pie pan.
Ingredients for the Pumpkin Pie Filling:
1 Pie Pumpkin
2 Lbs Dates
1 SUPER Ripe Persimmon
1 Large Tsp. of Cinnamon
1 Tiny Pinky Finger of Ginger
Optional: Scrape from a Vanilla Bean
Directions for the Filling:
Pit your dates, and place them in the vitamix with your chopped and peeled pumpkin.
Add all of the rest of the ingredients.
Pour the filling into the crust and spread it in evenly.
Freese the pie until it firms up.
Serve chilled!

Day 23 Recipe 23 Southern Queen of Vegan Cuisine:
Olive Garden is the best Italian restaurant in the history of Italian restaurants. Okay, it is not. It is one of the best Italian chain restaurants in the United States, topped only by Maggiano’s of course. I loved going there as a meat eater, could probably have a decent meal as a vegetarian, but as a vegan there really is not anything for me to eat at Olive Garden. Nothing filling and diving anyway, and that makes me so sad. Don’t know why I had to spill my heart about Olive Garden, because I have never even eaten their Pasta Primavera.
This was my first time eating anything close to Pasta Primavera. The vegetables are kept so fresh that the dish feels more like a warm pasta salad. The vegan Pasta Primavera was also really light by only using vegan sour cream as cream sauce. It had no heavy cream, no cream cheese, no milk. Sounds like that would have made it more of a vegetable laden alfredo. Though I lean more towards heavy foods, it is time for me to get on the light train, and this dish may be the one to do it.
Pasta and Creamy Primavera Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
12 ounces frozen peas
12 ounces frozen broccoli
12 ounces Penne Pasta
1 medium fresh zucchini
8 ounces vegan sour cheese
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil of high heat.
Pour in the frozen peas and broccoli. Cook them hot and thawed, but still crisp and bright green.
Move the peas and broccoli to a separate bowl using a slotted spoon.
Cut the zucchini once length wise, then chop into 1/2 inch half circles.
Cook the zucchini in the boiling water for 3 – 5 minutes until they have become slightly tender.
Move the zucchini to the bowl with the other vegetables using a slotted spoon.
Cook the pasta in the salted vegetable water as the box instructions or to your personal taste.
Drain the pasta, stir in the vegetables, and stir in the vegan sour cream.
Serve warm, could probably serve not so warm, and feel free to add any other spring vegetables you enjoy.

Pommes soufflées are cooked
by the Two-step method in oil:
STEP 1: The potatoes are cut into 3-mm
thick (1/8-in thick) oval, Rectangular, square slices, then
blanched for approximately 5 minutes
between 280°F and 300°F moving them around until softened.
STEP 2: The potatoes are transferred
into oil heated to 350°F (177°C) oil.
This will make the potato sticks inflate,
if the oil is to hot, the potatoes will color to fast and won’t achieve a crispy texture. Cook the potatoes in the oil till the are nice golden brown and crispy.
Drained on a kitchen towel season them with salt and serve right away.

Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients:
Chicken breast cut to 1/2 inch thickness
salt
1 egg beaten with 1/2 egg shell of water
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 cup panko bread crumbs
vegetable oil for frying
Slaw:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup blue cheese
14 ounce package slaw mix
salt/pepper
Buffalo Sauce:
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
1/2 cup hot sauce

Chicken, Chickpea, and Pesto Salad | Everyday Food with Sarah Carey
What do you usually do with leftover chicken? This salad is one of my favorite ways to polish it off. I mix some chicken with celery, English cucumber, and canned chickpeas; squeeze a little lemon juice on it; then toss it with an easy homemade pesto made with 3 cups basil, 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts, a clove of garlic, salt, olive oil, and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan — It makes plenty so you can have extra pesto on hand.
Sarah’s Tip of the Day:
I’m using the extra chicken from yesterday’s Every-Week Roast Chicken, but you can just as easily use store-bought rotisserie chicken or poach up some chicken breasts. Watch my video to see how easily the pesto and the salad come together. Let me know what you think!

Here’s the recipe:
1 lb hamburger
1 cup diced onion
1 cup sliced carrot
1 cup chopped celery
2 minced garlic cloves
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, undrained
1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans, undrained
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (12 ounce) can V8 vegetable juice
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
1⁄2 lb ditali pasta, al dente
Brown the hamburger, drain off the fat.
Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic and sauté until onion is clear (approx 10 minutes).
Add everything else except pasta, and simmer on low for one hour.
Cook pasta during last 10 minutes of simmering soup.
serve soup over pasta and store leftovers separate. pasta in one container and soup in the other. Enjoy.
