  • 5 FAT LOSS DINNER RECIPES — Monday Through Friday :)

5 FAT LOSS DINNER RECIPES — Monday Through Friday 🙂

5 FAT LOSS DINNER RECIPES -- Monday Through Friday :)

MY FAT LOSS PROGRAM — http://www.LeanSecrets.com

RECIPE#1 00:46 Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe
(Assorted Veggies, pre-cooked shrimp, asian dressing, sesame seeds)
01:39 Quick stir fry trick, add natural, low calorie asian dressing
You don’t have to use a wok for stir fry, it can be done in a regular skillet as well.

    RECIPE #2
    02:19 — Herbed Chicken
Using fresh herbs makes a world of difference! I love rosemary & thyme for chicken breast. It’s a great way to spice up what some may consider a boring protein.

The marinade in this video has; Rosemary, plenty of thyme, dried oregano, 1 Tbsp olive oil, salt, lemon juice, and 1 minced garlic clove. All of this is mixed together and rubbed into the chicken breast.

03:03 — I love this meat tenderizer from DENI. It’s available on amazon.com It makes the meat tender, and helps enhance the flavor! It also reduces cooking time significantly.

    04:10 — Mashed Cauliflower.
A mix of boiled cauliflower, 1 shallot, rosemary, coconut oil, salt, and a splash of organic chicken broth.

    RECIPE #3
    06:18 — Tuna Pasta Salad
The pasta used in this recipe is a gluten free, quinoa & brown rice pasta purchased from Whole Foods. The benefits of replacing wheat with grains like quinoa are endless.

For more information on how eliminating wheat from your diet can benefit your fat loss goals, watch my 10 REASONS TO STOP EATING WHEAT video here:

This tuna pasta has quinoa penne style pasta, 2-3 Tbsp 0% greek yogurt, celery, peas, almond slivers, red onions, a few organic raisins, and some crushed pepper & sea salt.

All ingredients are to taste and preference. If you’re not a big fan of celery for example, you can just not add celery 🙂

    RECIPE #4
    08:10 MILLION DOLLAR SALAD
Your million dollar salad will probably be different from mine. It doesn’t matter though. What matters is that you fill a large bowl with a large assortment of your favorite veggies, a little protein, and enjoy.

    09:24 — AVOCADO BASIL DRESSING
This dressing is sooooo good. Not to mention it is completely natural, and very fat loss friendly. No weird trans fats, artificial flavors, preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup here!

    It has:
    1 avocado
A handful of basil (cilantro works very well too!)
    1 Garlic clove
Sea salt to taste (start with a pinch and go from there!)
    1 tsp olive oil
approx 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Water (add this as you blend, and see how thick or thin you want it)

10:00 Nutritional Yeast is great for vegetarians (and non vegetarians)

    RECIPE #5
    10:40 — Tilapia Tacos
OMG! These are probably my favorite. If you like tacos (who doesn’t) then you’ll LOVE these!

    Coat your tilapias with:
    Sea salt
    Garlic powder
    Chipotle powder
    Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime
A few drops of liquid smoke

11:28 Be sure to warm your tortillas before assembly.
I used the Food For Life sprouted corn tortillas purchased from Whole Foods. They also have brown rice tortillas which are great

    Thank you for watching!!! XOXOXOXOXOX

  • Home Fried Potatoes Recipe…a great breakfast side.

Home Fried Potatoes Recipe…a great breakfast side.

This crispy home fried potatoes recipe makes a tasty breakfast side. I use onion and hot pepper in this video/recipe, but adding a little green bell pepper is nice, too.

A printable copy of this recipe can be found at
http://www.myfoodchannel.com/home-fried-potatoes/ Give this home fried potatoes recipe a try and let me know what you think, and for more recipes check out the Chef Buck playlist:

    Home Fried Potatoes Recipe

    Ingredients:

    1 large POTATO
    2-3 Tbsp BACON FAT
    1/3 cup ONION (finely chopped)
¼ cup GREEN BELL PEPPER (finely chopped, optional)
HOT PEPPER (to taste, finely chopped)
    1 tsp SMOKED PAPRIKA
    SALT and PEPPER to taste

    Directions:

In a skillet, fry up 4-5 pieces of fatty bacon, this will give you enough grease to cook up your potatoes.
Peel your potato, which is something I hate to say, ’cause potato skin is so delicious….but the breakfast home fries I grew up with were peeled, so that’s how I gotta roll.
Dice your potato into dinky cubes; they don’t have to be exactly the same same, but mostly they do, so cut them as uniformly as possible.

Add your diced potato to the skillet of hot grease–and by hot, I mean that your potatoes start to sizzle and cook when they hit the pan–but not overly hot, ’cause it will take 20-25 minutes to cook these potatoes up just right. Medium-low heat is a good temp…keep the potatoes sizzling, they need to crisp on the outside, but they also need to cook through on the inside, otherwise you’ll end up with a buch of crispy, raw potato; so go slow, amigo.
Mix your potatoes with the grease and spread them out in the skillet and let them brown for about 5 minutes.

Add finely chopped onion and hot peppers–if desired, also add a little finely chopped green bell pepper for taste and color–I usually do, but if I don’t have it on hand, it’s not the end of the world…it’s just breakfast, man.
Mix the ingredients well and spread out in the skillet and let cook another 5 minutes.
Add paprika, stir and continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionaly, until the potatoes are cooked through and done to the desired crispness.
The key is to not cook the potatoes too fast.

Give this home fried hash brown potato recipe a try and let me know what you think, and bon appétit!

  • Baked Camembert with Fruit Appetizer Recipe

Baked Camembert with Fruit Appetizer Recipe

Baked camembert with pears and cranberries is a luscious, elegant hors d’oeuvers. Serve this elegant appetizer accompanied with an assortment of crackers to your guest.

    Ingredients
    1 sheet frozen puff pastry
    1 large egg
    1 tsp of water
    2 tbsp of butter
    1 large pear, sliced
3 tbsp of firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 tbsp of dried cranberries
1 camembert cheese round (8 oz)

    Instructions
    1. Thaw the puff pastry sheet at room temperature for 30 minutes.
    2. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
    3. Combine the egg and water in a small bowl to create a wash and reserve.
    4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    5. Add the pear slices and brown sugar and saute until lightly softened, about 5 minutes and stir in dried cranberries.
    6. Remove from the heat and allow the fruit mixture to cool slightly.
    7. Unfold the pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Roll to about an 11-inch square and cut off the corners to make a circle.
    8. Cut the camembert in half horizontally through the middle using a sharp knife heated with hot water.
    9. Place the lower half of the camembert in the center of the pastry sheet and top with half of the pear mixture.
    10. Place the top of the camembert – cut side down – on top of the pears. Top with the remaining fruit mixture.
    11. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg mixture, then fold the two opposite sides over the cheese. Trim the remaining two sides about 2-inches in from the cheese then brush with the egg mixture and fold them over onto the cheese. Press the edges to seal.
    12. Place the cheese seam side down on a baking sheet brush with the remaining egg mixture. If you have extra time, cut decorative leaves from the reserve pastry scraps and roll a few tiny pastry balls to complete.
    13. Arrange the leaves and balls decoratively and garnish with a little rosemary. Brush with more of the egg mixture.
    14. Bake until golden brown-about 20 minutes.
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

    Here’s the recipe:
    Ingredients

2cans (8 oz) Pillsbury? refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup well drained roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)
    8 slices provolone cheese, halved
1/3 lb deli sliced hot salami
    1/4 lb deli sliced ham
    1/4 lb deli sliced capocollo
1/2 cup well drained hot pepper rings (from a jar)
    butter
    garlic powder
    Steps
    1 Heat oven to 375°F.
2 Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 8 rectangles. On ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, arrange rectangles in ring so short sides of rectangles form a circle in center. (Dough will overlap; half of each rectangle will hang over edge of pan. Dough ring should resemble a sun.)
3 Spread roasted red bell peppers towards center of ring on bottom halves of rectangles. Top with half of the cheese. Layer salami, ham and capocollo slices over cheese. Arrange pepper rings over top. Cover with remaining half of cheese.
4 Bring each dough rectangle hanging over side of pan up over stacked filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around sandwich until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little but that is okay.) Brush top with melted butter and garlic powder.
5 Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Remove from oven; cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.
