seems too complicated… I worked at hardees and we did a similar process.
We took chicken like you did and thawed from in a refrigerator overnight or
in the a bowl with luke warm water. you don’t want hot water, it will make
make the chicken spoil We took the raw chicken, dipped them in a buttermilk
egg wash. Then we used chicken breader flour. If we ran out we would use
biscuit flower but all it is, is regular flower with spices and such that
make it the flower orange. Then fry it for 4 min.
