VEGETARIAN meatless MEATLOAF WITH GRAVY recipe

How to make meatless VEGETARIAN MEATLOAF, great for re-heating for sandwiches, or with mashed potatoes.

FOOD RECIPES PLAYLIST

VEGETARIAN MEATLOAF

In a large bowl, mix:
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups whole wheat flour
4 Tablespoons dehydrated onion (or fresh chopped onion)
2 Tablespoons granulated garlic
1 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 Teaspoon baking soda,
1 Teaspoon of salt and pepper
1 cup mashed black beans

Add:
1 ½ cups stewed tomatoes
1 cup water,
4 Tablespoons canola oil
4 Tablespoon ketchup
2 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon mustard
Optional: 1 Tablespoon hot sauce

Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted
in the center comes out clean.

Emi’s MICROWAVE GRAVY:
Mix together in a microwavable container:
1 Tablespoon corn starch
1 teaspoon flour
2 teaspoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon oregano
ADD:
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon canola oil

Heat on high, stirring every minute. After 2 minutes, reduce time to 30 seconds between stirring so as not to pass over the container.

    Lovely Recipe, however, Worcestershire sauce has anchovy paste in it. It can be substituted with balsamic vinegar & brown sugar. Thank You for sharing!

    wow that really comes out looking nice!  I have a fave glaze recipe i might try with it!  (ketchup, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar-makes a great sloppy joe sauce too!  lol-i made a typo and wrote sloppy hoe!)
