Simple Great Tasting Crock Pot Chili

This is my version of slow cooked Crock Pot Chili. It is a basic Chili recipe you can easily modify. The main ingredients for my version of this slow cooker chili are as follows:

All items are approximate and there is really no need to stress over exact measurements.

1-2 Lbs Ground Beef
1-2 Onions Diced
1 cup red kidney beans (optional)
1-2 cans Diced tomatoes
1/4 cup chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Half a can of beer (or water)
Jalapeno pepper(s) depending on how spicy you want it.
3-4 tablespoons of tomato paste or ketchup.

Brown the hamburger and combine everything into a crock pot or slow cooker. cook on High about 7 hours or low about 10 depending on your crock pot or slow cooker. Taste your chili. Then season your chili with salt if needed or heat up your chili with hot sauce or more chili powder or chili peppers.
