While watching this one, i heard you said you like to put the chocolate chips on top and sink them with knife, because you don't like when they are all on the bottom.
I may sound "naive", but, have you ever tried to toss the chips (or whatever you want to put in) in a little flour? After that, they won't sink anyhow.
