Rich Mushroom Soup
Food Ingredients:
10 Button Mushrooms, cleaned, washed and diced 5 cups Water 1 clove Garlic, finely chopped 1 small piece Ginger, finely chopped 1 tablespoon Onion, finely chopped 1 tablespoon Spring Onion, Finely chopped 2 tasblespoons Coriander Leaves, Finely chopped 1 cube Vegetable bouillon, dissolved in water 1 teaspoon Cumin/Jeera Powder 1 teaspoon Corn Flour dissolved in 2 teaspoons milk or water 1 pinch Ajinamoto – a pinch Pepper, to taste Salt , to taste 1 tablespoon Butter
Recipe preparation:
1 Heat butter in a sauce pan. Add garlic and ginger and saute for 1 minute. 2 Add onion and spring onions. saute for 2 minutes. 3 Add mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes. 4 Add water and bring it to boil. Cover with a lid and allow mushrooms to cook. 5 Once mushrooms are half done, add bouillon cube and salt, and stir it continuously for 2 minutes. 6 Now add corn starch dissolved in water, and stir continously till it comes to soup consistency. 7 Finally add a pinch of Ajinamoto and pepper for taste. Garnish with Coriander leaves.
