Jujube Sweet Pickles
Food Ingredients:
1 quart Chinese jujube, peeled 3 cups sugar 1 cup vinegar 1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon clove
Recipe preparation:
1 Cook fruit in syrup until done and steep in syrup overnight in the refrigerator. 2 Reheat syrup and fruit to boiling. 3 Pack fruit in jars while hot, cover with boiling syrup leaving 1/4″ headspace; wipe edges of jar, screw on seals and rings and process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes to seal.
