Jack daniels must be american because its a bourbon. Requirments for a whisky to be a bourbon is that is american and contains at least 51% corn

This sandwich looks incredible!! Jack Daniels was probably Welsh/Scottish.  Tennessee is home to many, many people who immigrated from the UK.  Wonder why you didn't call him American-Brit, as that is what Jack Daniels actually was?  Please understand, America is not a nationality, as much as it is a "creed."  Our parents and grandparents came from all over the world.  So if asked what we are, we say American.  If asked of our "ethnic" nationality, we say where our parents or descendants came from i.e. British-American, etc. No one but the Native Americans can say that they are American, but to be totally honesty – they would not call themselves American.  They would say that they are Lakota, Apache or Cherokee.  (We call America America, but they were Cherokees, Apaches and Lakotas long before Columbus.)  As for Jack Daniels, let's say Jasper "Jack" Daniels was an American-Brit.  And he came up with a whiskey recipe that made us both proud. 🙂

How would I make my sub melt?
Well, in a HUGE crucible, I'd imagine. Why would I melt my sub, though?

Jack Daniels is a bourbon type of whiskey. The majority countries (yours included) require bourbon to be made in the US to even be recognized as a a bourbon!
