You can microwave the potatoes in a covered vessel (e.g., casserole dish)
in less time (10-15 minutes), depending on how many you use. Nice chef

I make a veggie shepherdess pie, with fresh veggies and I add baked beans
tin & brown lentils, herbs & mushrooms topped with sweet potatoes mixed
with goats cheese and regular cheese like parmesan or any other kind on top
instead of the butter.

If you chop the potatoes before you put them in the pot they’ll cook MUCH
faster than the 30 minutes you have to do. Just a helpful hint to speed up
cooking time.
