Processed cheese food? You can’t be serious? People actually eat like this
and consider it a healthy meal? This is disgusting.

  4. Marissa Munoz

I would cook some chicken breast instead of using canned chicken.

  5. Daan Tant

Okay I needed something quick so I made this the other night. I substituted
my own home canned chicken (from my old laying hens) though freshly cooked
breasts or thighs would work fine, steamed rice from my rice cooker, made a
roux instead of using the canned soup and used fresh grated cheddar. I used
frozen broccoli, too and sauteed my onions in with the roux. It turned out
fantastic and I will be adding this to our rotation.

I’m making this tonight, except I’m using chicken breasts (not from a can),
regular rice (not instant) and a homemade cheese sauce with fresh sauteed
broccoli and onions. 🙂 But thanks for the video.

I love how you call the Velveeta “processed cheese food” as if to reassure
yourself it is food. I’m not complaining, I love the stuff. I just thought
    it was slightly funny.

  19. Ginika Akpata

Could you use un-canned chicken for this recipe?
