Lol the saying is not a washed pot never boils, it’s a WATCHED pot never
boils , as in walk away and do something else don’t just stand there and
stare at it, because if your waiting on something it takes forever … 😉
    …..the more you know

take the garlic clove, place on counter. Lay chef knife falt on top of
it. Slap down hard and firm…this will partially crush the clove, and
separate the outer skin from the good stuff. remove the skin, and give a
    few chops. Done

I heard the Pickled Eggs are terrible. is that true? Yeah I know: in Sweden
is pikled herring. And in my coutry is pickled cabbage. Should I try?

Awesome video…I hadn’t visited the 1960s in quite some time. Um, yea…so,
you let the water run for 15 minutes to cool your eggs? I cant think of a
better waste of water than that. I liked the whole me watching you
watching a person taking a video of you. So let me get this straight, you
crack the egg on the table, then you peel it? or is it the other way
around? Do I leave some shell on the egg or do I just make it naked? Ahh
    hell…this is too confusing…

I like your way of this pickling because your finished jars look nice.

nice video. when shooting with the light behind you, such as the windows
beaming sunlight in, you need a fill light, an artificial light to expose
your face as the auto came will focus on the window light and darken the
foreground. Or, close the blinds or do videos at night, that works too. I
love pickled eggs, those sound yummy

Your yolks are dry and chalky because you overcook the eggs. Boil water
first, lower in eggs, cook 13 minutes. Put them in an ice water bath for 15
minutes and they will have bright yellow, creamy textured yolks, no
greenish color or sulfur taste and peel very easily.

i also cook mine 15 mins because they come out perfect like that, but
running your water for that long is a huge waste. You can get eggs that
peal very easy if you empty the hot water and put a little bit of cold
water and a bunch of ice soke about 3 to 5 mins and then the shell and
white thin skin come off very easy and you have eggs that aren’t messy or
clumpy like if the skin takes part of the egg with it

Wow… waaaaaay too long to even get to the pickling. No need to make a vid
about boiling and peeling eggs. Everyone knows how to boil eggs… no need
    to explain that.

You need to make sure that the pot you make your brine in is non reactive.
It should either be stainless steel, glass, or enamel coated. The acid in
the vinegar will be toxic if made in any other type of pot.
