Chicken Thighs are chicken lovers favorite cut. They generally have more flavor than chicken breasts, which also tend to dry out more easily than thighs.

Of course, there are a ton of different ways to cook chicken thighs, but here I show you one of my favorites. I’m using a skin on, boneless thigh, but the technique works for skin off…or bone in.

After a few minutes in a good hot pan (skin side down), you’ll get a beautiful crispy skin. Once turned over, move the whole pan into a 400 degree oven for about 10 – 15 minutes, and you’re done.

Did you have melted butter in the pan or olive oil heating up before you
    put the thighs in?

hi there, do we have to move it to the oven? I liked the breast method
which just on on the stove.

The company I sometimes keep does not appreciate chicken breasts. I tried
making barbecued thighs in the oven but the skin came out like rubber, any
suggestions as to how I can make them better?

Yup, thighs are my go to choice when we’re having chicken. Roasts have
their place but thighs and legs have the most flavor and the higher fat
makes them juicier. I use them in most chicken dishes. Too bad they’re more
calorific than breast. Adding a little tarragon to the saute pan adds nice
flavor, especially if I’m deglazing the pan after. Thighs BBQ so perfectly
    too!

Thank you very much for the tutorial. Just one question, do you have any
videos on how to make the mashed beans & the sauce??

    Thanks

You didn’t show how you made the sauce. It looks delicious. I am guessing
    white wine and butter??

Thighs are my go to cut for grilling, too. It is easy to over cook breasts
but thighs stay moist and tasty even when searing on the grill.
