    @pplagwankar : It is usually available at Whole Foods / Natural Foods stores. You can even skip the Xanthan gum in this recipes, it is optional.

    Interesting use of oats. In Australia they are considered to be not GF and are banned from a gluten free diet.

    Isn't this essentially 'Apple Crisp' not 'Apple Crumble' since for apple crumble you cook the apples with the sugar and cinnamon and all the goodies? I know in apple crumble we use flour to top off on the apples, being gluten free wouldn't we use oat flour instead of whole rolled oats since using the whole oats would be an apple crisp? Gives different texture and the pie doesn't fall apart the way it does here. Thanks!

    Many people react to Corn just like Gluten so be warned about using corn starch or any corn products, same goes for rice , soy , and dairy.
