I follow Laura's recipe and it is such a great hit with my family, they absolutely love it! It is so soft and delicious. The smell of the waffles is so good even without vanilla essence (i forgot to buy one). Thank you Laura!

we usually have it with like a thin caremel Sugar coating … but this looks good toooo

that looks nothing like belgian waffles. the dough must be harder, not poured but made into a ball when placed on the iron and it also has to contain chunks of sugar in it, and the texture is also very different, it is very soft and fluffy but without the air bubbles…

Another Belgian might have told you by now but: the waffle you made is a take on the 'Liège waffle'. We have different ones but the most famous is our Brussels waffle with fresh fruit and ice cream 🙂 A Brussels waffle is more crunchy
