INGREDIENTS:

Filling (Apples):
Roughly 6 thinly sliced peeled apples
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Topping (Crumble):
3/4 cup flour
3 tbsp granulated sugar
3 tbsp packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter

    oh man, that looks so yummy! whenever i make pies, i always find that the
    crust comes out a lot crispier and flakier if i prick the bottom with a
    fork and let it pre-bake in the oven for a couple of minutes. that way,
    once you put the filling in, the crust is already ahead of the game and
    doesn’t get soggy!
