Can we use minced shallots or onions instead of white spring onion? How
come we use the minced white spring onion? Does it make it taste better?

Helen I used fresh jicama. It took 30 minutes to get soft. It still wasn’t
very soft but I was so hungry I couldn’t wait any more. So my meatballs had
jicama chunks. Still very delicious. Especially the sauce.

Next time I will chop it very fine.

    Hi Helen,

I’m not much of a pork mince fan due to the fat content. Can I use lean
beef mince for this dish instead? Would it be a huge difference in flavour?

    Thanks
