Toffee Sauce
Food Ingredients:
vegetarian 50 grams butter 75 grams caster sugar 50 grams light muscovado sugar 150 grams golden syrup 1 170g tin of evaporated milk
Recipe preparation:
1 Put the butter sugars and syrup in a pan and heat gently on the simmering plate until melted and liquid. 2 Transfer to the boiling plate so the mixture boils gently for 5 minutes. 3 Remove the pan from the heat and gradually stir in the evaporated milk. 4 The saucy is now ready and can be served hot or warm or dolloped on cold. 5 Makes about 450g
