Tandoori Chicken Recipe
Food Ingredients:
1 cup o plain lowfat yogurt 2 teaspoons o 1 1 ⁄ grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon o each paprika, garam masala o minced garlic 2 teaspoons o 1 ⁄ kosher salt 4 o boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 5 oz each) 2 tablespoons o chopped cilantro or mint
Recipe preparation:
1 Mix yogurt, ginger, paprika, garam masala, garlic and salt in a medium bowl until blended. Scrape 3⁄4 cup into a 1-gallon ziptop bag. Add chicken; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Stir cilantro into remaining yogurt mixture and set aside for serving. 2 Meanwhile, heat broiler and line a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick foil. 3 Remove chicken from bag and place on prepared pan (discard bag and its contents). Broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until cooked through. 4 Place chicken on serving plates and drizzle with reserved yogurt mixture.
