Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake Recipe

Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake Recipe

You have to love a cake that you really don’t have to do much to. This cake is one of those. You can top it off with what ever or leave it plan. Depending on how long you cook it for it can be like a pudding cake or a super moist cake.

SLOW COOKER CAKE
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups raw sugar
1 pinch sea salt
1 cup cashew milk (any milk will do)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup black cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup boiling water

Grease slow cooker insert, set aside.
Combine butter and sugar. Mix well.
Add milk, oil and eggs. Mix well.
Combine flour, chocolate powder, baking soda and baking powder. Mix well.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Mix until just incorporated.
Add water. Mix well.
Pour batter into prepared insert.
Place insert into slow cooker.
Cook on low for 3 – 3 1/2 hours, until a cake tester insert into the cake comes out clean. Let cool. slightly and remove from insert.
This can can be cooled completely and frosted or dusted with powdered sugar.

    yum, that sounds great! I always love to learn new cool things to make in the slow cooker! I also once made a cake in my rice cooker, it was pretty neat.
