    FUCKING CHICKEN THIGHS AND ADD TO THE FUCKING MIX. POUR IN FUCKING CHICKEN
    STOCK AND FUCKING SIMMER. FUCKING STIR IN WHOLE FUCKING LIGHTLY BEATEN
    FUCKING EGGS WHICH FUCKING THICKENS THE SAUCE AND FUCKING COOK. ADD IN
    FUCKING SLICED ALMONDS AND SET ASIDE TO FUCKING COOL! NOW FUCKING BUILD THE
    PASTILLA. CHEAT WITH THE FUCKING FILO. BRUSH THE FUCKING SHEETS WITH
    FUCKING MELTED BUTTER AND LAY 4 FUCKING SHEETS IN A GREASED FUCKING BAKING
    TIN! SPOON IN HALF THE FUCKING FANTASTIC CHICKEN FUCKING FILLING! ADD 4
    MORE FUCKING BUTTERED SHEETS OF FUCKING FILO PASTRY. PILE IN THE REST OF
    THE FUCKING DELICIOUS CHICKEN. FUCKING COVER WITH A COUPLE FUCKING SHEETS
    OF FUCKING FILO AND FUCKING FOLD OVER. BRUSH WITH MORE FUCKING BUTTER! BAKE
    IN FUCKING OVEN FOR 10 TO FUCKING 15 MINUTES UNTIL THE TOP IS FUCKING
    GOLDEN! I WANT IT FUCKING CRUNCHY SO TURN FUCKING OVER AND RETURN FOR
    FUCKING 10 MORE MINUTES. FUCKING DUST LIGHTLY WITH FUCKING ICING SUGAR AND
    FUCKING CINNAMON.
    FUCKING DELICIOUS!

    This is very authentic except that we assemble it in layers. We cook the
    chicken with the onions, we remove them, we keep the sauce and then add the
    eggs to that sauce, we boil the almonds and grind them with sugar, butter
    and orange blossom, then it is a sheet of pastilla, a layer of chicken,
    another pastry sheet, a layer of eggs, another sheet, the final layer of
    almonds and then we cover the whole thing. When you slice you can see the
    different layers, it is so so good.

    This was Gorgeous !
    As a Veggie family, I replaced he Chicken with Quorn Chicken chunks
    marinated overnight in the contents of a tin of favourite ‘Smooth’ soup
    Then added sweetcorn during the filling cook.
    It was beautiful and I got the ‘moisture’ level perfect, 1st time
    The almonds were a treat with every bite 🙂
    It was lovely – you know its always a ‘Hit’ when the following day the
    children ask for another portion warmed up from the left overs.
    It gave us 7 generous portions – so Excellent Value for money too
