Can this be prepared altanta (not cooked all the way) or eve raw? Thanks.
nice! but i wish some recipes or serving suggestions would have been
included, since a 101 video is usually for people who are new to something.
Thanks to the eating disorders purveyed by low carb diet gurus, a grain can
only be considered healthy now if it’s marketed as gluten free and a good
source of protein and fiber ala quinoa, ignoring its actual asset, which is
complex carbohydrates. Quinoa promoters won’t market it as a good source of
carbs or starch because the gullible public perceives these as fattening.
I missed the poop talk. Can we have the poop talk again?
One more time…poop talk.
Just introduced it to my son who is 15 and he loved it. I recently went
paleo, so am using ths i place of rice. One of our favorite dishes, Kabsa,
has rice with toasted almonds and soaked gold raisins with spices. I did it
on quinoa and it was awesome!! Tonight I cooked some cut up okra in a
skilet with coconut oil, with yellow curry, garlic , cayenne , and toped
the quinoa with it. yum!!
Im loving your videos,
Quinoa is a nutrient rich, gluten free food that is a perfect addition to a
plant based diet. What is your favorite recipe that uses Quinoa?
Great video! Thanks so much for the information. Trying to get rid of leg
cramps and Quinoa has strong amounts of Magnesium which help alleviate
them.
The way i thought ‘Quinoa’ was pronounced quince-noa hahaha oh god.
How does it taste?
*Quinoa is a good natural healthy food, one of the rare few plant foods
contain good percentage of essential amino acids(protein).*
*However, don’t let this common fact misleads you to think that Quinoa is
one the only few best options to get essential amino acids from plant
foods.*
*You can get all the essential amino acids by combining a bunch of
different plant foods such as whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds. Not only
this way is cheaper cost by weight, also you get many more other nutrients
than from Quinoa alone.*
*Quinoa is expensive because supplies are in shortage, as more people jump
on the Quinoa bandwagon, its market price will shoot up even higher.*
*Quinoa is mostly grown in South America. The average poor South American
people used to feed on Quinoa can no longer afford it because foreign
companies are paying high prices for them and then take them out of the
countries that produced them.*
*The combination of low cost grains, beans, nuts and seeds are better
choice than Quinoa in terms of nutrients, cost and humanity.*
*Until Quinoa can be cheaply produced in large quantity, in the mean time
AVOID QUINOA!*

@silencerainbows A huuuuge amount! I assume you’re joking lol. Quinoa is
very labour intensive to harvest and grows best at VERY high altitudes in
poor soil. But if you DO grow any, please let me know how it goes
