Recipe here: http://www.joyofbaking.com/breakfast/QuicheRecipe.html Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make a Quiche. This Quiche recipe flavors the savory custard filling with bacon, spinach, diced shallots (or onions), and grated cheese. It is good warm from the oven, at room temperature, or even cold. Serve it with a green salad for brunch, lunch, or even for supper.

Yes, sausage would be excellent and you could use a lighter cream or whole
    milk for the heavy cream.

Hello Stephanie…I love your channel. Question: I was wondering why did
you put the vegetable mix in the crust first instead of mixing it in the
    egg custard?

  6. alejandra gamez

    thank you so much !!!

  7. Joy of Baking

You could mix it all together. I just find I get a more even layer if I
spread the vegetables in the crust first and then pour the custard over top.

Hi Stephanie! Had a quick question, can I put the quiche in the fridge
after I’ve poured the custard and veggies into it and then bake it the next
morning? Love your videos, so thorough. Thanks.

Hi! In most recipes your metric measurements are quite good and helpful,
but this recipe is not the case: I do not know how much are 4 strips of
bacon in grams (but this shouldn’t be that problematic, either I have more
or less bacon in there). However measuring onions and especially cheese in
grams would be much useful – unlike measuring in millimetres. This recipe
is thus not usable for me for a first time trying to bake this type of
    quiche.
