PEACHY PEACH COBBLER – How to make PEACH COBBLER Recipe

PEACHY PEACH COBBLER

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

!/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 (15 OZ) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1. In 13′ by 9″ baking dish melt butter in oven.

2. In medium mixing bowl. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt & 1 cup sugar together. Slowly add milk. Whisk until all ingredients are well blended. Batter will be thin. Set aside.

3. In medium sauce pan over medium-heat add peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg. Stir until peaches almost boil. Remove from heat. Set aside.

4. Remove baking dish with melted butter from over. Pour thin batter over melted butter. Immediately spoon hot peaches over thin batter & butter evenly. ~DO NOT STIR~

5. Bake 55 – 65 minutes.

GREAT WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM!!

    Where does the baking soda come in? It actually looked like the salt, when you were showing your ingredients. I'm asking because I understood if you use self rising flour there's no need to use baking powder or salt . So in this recipe you're using both baking power and baking soda? Looks delicious anyway.

    I have a question " you said salt and never said baking soda so do i put salt and baking soda or how much baking soda
