Oat N’ Turkey Burgers
Food Ingredients:
1 pound organic ground turkey 1 cup Oats cup Egg Whites 1 cup Vidalia onion, finely chopped 1 teaspoon Chili Powder cup Bran Crumbs (crumbs from crackers, pretzels, etc.) Salt/Pepper to taste Whole Weat buns, toasted Kale, Collard Greens, for topping 1 Fresh tomato, sliced for topping Condiments of choice: Organic Mustard, Vegan Mayonnaise, Organic Ketchup
Recipe preparation:
1 Combine the first 7 ingredients in a bowl and mix well with clean hands. 2 Divide into 6 burgers (1/2 inch thick) 3 Heat grill pan and drizzle with olive oil over medium-high heat 4 Add burgers to pan; cook for 6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked 5 Place each burger on a toasted whole wheat bun along with slices of fresh tomato, kale and collard greens. 6 Add Vegan mayo, organic ketchup or mustard if desired. 7 Enjoy!
