Crispy Baked Chicken Tenders Recipe
Hi Guys, today I’m going to show you how to make crispy chicken tenders that are baked so they’re healthier than the deep fried kind. Deep frying is a pain. You end up wasting a lot of oil or reusing it which means making more fried food. So, baking is a much easier and less messy way of making crispy chicken tenders.

Set up a little assembly line which will make the process really quick. First, I have 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into about 2 inch pieces. You could also cut them into strips if you’d like. I’ve seasoned the chicken with ¼ tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder. Next I have all purpose flour, about ¼ cup also seasoned with ¼ tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder. Next in line is one egg beaten with 2 tbsps water and ¼ tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder. Last is panko bread crumbs with ¼ tsp salt. Panko crumbs are larger and crunchier than standard bread crumbs so they make a great crust for the chicken. Drizzle the bread crumbs with olive oil so they brown nicely in the oven. Mix it well.
You’ll also need a baking sheet lined with foil. Spread 2 tsps oil on the foil.
First take a piece of chicken and dip it in the flour, next dip it in the egg mixture and finally the panko mixture. Press the panko onto the chicken so you’ll end up with a nice crust. Place the chicken on the foil. To save time, drop all the chicken into the flour and coat, do the same with the egg and the bread crumbs. Now all the chicken pieces are on the foil. Bake in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes until the bottom is golden. Turn over the pieces and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked. When the chicken is done, it’s crispy outside and juicy inside. It’s seasoned well so it tastes great on it’s own. You could serve the chicken fingers with ketchup, honey mustard, hot sauce or whatever condiment you’d like. I’m also gonna be making baked seasoned fries in the oven so stay tuned for that video.
