RECIPE for Adobo:
Chicken thighs, wings or drumsticks
4 cloves of garlic minced
1 medium onion
4 bay leaves
2 cups water
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/4 cup of vinegar
4 bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Saute garlic and onion
Put chicken in the pan and brown it
Add water, soy sauce, vinegar, & bay leaves (DO NOT MIX)
Add bay leaves
Bring to a boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes until chicken is tender
(I like to simmer mine on very low heat for 1 hr to 1 hr & 15 minutes. It makes the chicken extremely tender!)
