Monique, have you ever heard of a "fruit cocktail pie"? I went to an outing and the lady served it as a dessert. She used cool whip,a can of fruit cocktail, a can of tropical fruit , condense milk, lemon juice and graham cracker crust.
It was extremely good. Maybe you can do a video of this and put your twist on it.

@MSLUV2TRAVEL yes I used frozen berries in this recipes. I have a black berry and a peach cobbler recipe on my blog. I like making apple cobblers in the fall.

@ebwife I have never had fruit cocktail pie. I'm normally not a fan of canned fruit cocktail but now you have me curious.

Riddle me this Diva. (i love your recipes by the way) im a huge fan of peach cobbler. i normally make it somewhat like this but with peach of course, but your peach cobbler recipe is what i would call peach pie. What exact is the cobbler part of any cobbler? I always thought it was the breading that raises up through the fruit. Please set me str8 Diva, cause I dont want to sound stupid when I talk about what I cook, cause I love to cook.

Can I use frozen berries … Since they aren't always in season lol

  16. Divas Can Cook

@yreid21 yep I used a bag of frozen mixed berries

  17. Divas Can Cook

@Devi1D0g04 you're correct. Authentic cobbler is the kind that rises through the fruit. An old fashioned peach cobbler is basically a peach pie in some parts of the south.

Hello DIVASCANCOOK, this dish looks tasty…. I have a question, what kind of fruit can i use in Winter season? Cuz' i see this dish is for "Summer", i have a "new year party" and i want to make something like this, but i don't know if is good for this season.

I think the red cranberries is the winter season fruit, can i use it for this dish?

Thanks and have a happy new year 2011

    Regards from GDL
