Maryland Shrimp Pasta Salad
Food Ingredients:
1 pound pasta 3 grated carrots 1 small Vidalia onion chopped 1 stalk celery chopped 1 cucumber chopped 1 pint cherry tomatoes 1 green pepper chopped 1 pound steamed shrimp peeled 1 cup mayo 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Old Bay Seasoning to taste
Recipe preparation:
1 Boil and cook the pasta. 2 Chop the vegetables and peeled shrimp in a large bowl. 3 Mix and pour the dressing over the drained pasta and vegetables and mix well. 4 Season with Old Bay to taste (as a Marylander, I literally *dump* Old Bay on it when I make it… easily 6-10 tablespoons if not more… it also depends on if you have Old Bay on the steamed shrimp already). 5 Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.
