My poor Joe is sick.. 🙁 making him some soup to make him better!!
Chicken Soup Recipe: http://www.laurainthekitchen.com/recipes/chicken-soup/
Am definitively going to make this one today (minus the chicken, cause I
don’t have any at home right now, is that bad?!? 😉 Can’t believe I never
checked out this video after you talking about this yummy soup so much in
your vlogs! I’m glad I did, because my son and I are both sick and sure
need this soup in our lives tonight!! and the hubby will love it too! Hugs
from Bochum, Germany
Puree seems interesting! Seems like 2 different soup recipes in 1 video.
Very nice as always. I would though NEVER use bullion because it’s full of
MSG which is very harmful.
Typical ingredients in Chicken bullion: Iodized Salt, Hydrogenated Palm
Oil, Wheat Flour, Flavor Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium
Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate), Chicken Fat, Sugar, Yeast Extract, Onion,
Spices (Turmeric, White Pepper, Coriander), Parsley, Caramel, Chicken Meat.
This product does not include any preservatives .
Oh my GOODNESS! I just made your Brodo di Pollo (my husband wasn’t feeling
well & I happened to have all the veggies on hand). This is the BEST
Chicken Soup I have ever had! Better than the one I grew up with! I think
we have a new “Cure All” in our family! Thanks so much! xo
God Bless your Grandmother nice recipe!!!!!!!
Actually the vegetables just cut into small cubes and no need to mash.
why is everything you cook looks so damn good?
I’m definetly going to make this, thanks Laura :)
I love her passion for food.
Food is honestly one of the best things in life. LAKSDJFLKjlerk;jalskdjff
Laura, I love the stories you tell about your childhood and even recent
ones. You’re a great storyteller too! And this is also what makes people
connected to you like part of the family. I need to try this chicken soup!
I made this two days ago and boyyyy was it good. I tried it blended and not
blended but I actually prefer it blended like Laura’s. Needless to say,
I’ve been eating the leftovers for breakfast lunch and dinner for the past
couple days haha. Thanks Nonna!
Awwwwww she breaks my heart she really misses her nonna benditooooo
I made this, and it was so delicious and simple! Felt homey and comforting
just like you said 🙂 Thanks Laura & Joe!!
Aw Laura, thank you for sharing this recipe – it truly looks amazing.
you are so sweet, laura. i love how much food means to you
Making this tonight yummy x
should i cover the pot or remove the top while simmering?
no pureeing the veggies for me and I use low sodium creamy tomato soup from
Trader Joe’s, plenty of black pepper and when it’s in the bowl, top with
some parmesean cheese and frizelles, oh yes………….i also had some
frozen chopped spinach and put in some ancini pepe.
can i substitute the chicken bullion cube with a stock cube and can i leave
out the butternut squash i dont find any here.. :(
bene bene!
You lost me once you put the bouillon in..
