How to make Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Soak boneless chuck steak in salt water for 30 minutes and RINSE AFTERWARDS!

Then chop steak up into small square size shapes

Season with 1 tbs of salt, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of black pepper and 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce and stir until well blended

Chop 1 onion, 1/4 green pepper, and 5 mushrooms up as shown in video

Place a pan over high heat

Add butter

Then add chopped mushrooms onions and peppers to the pan

Then add 1 tsp of minced garlic

Fry until done for about 7 minutes then remove from pan

Add oil to the pan then add steak

Fry for 10 minutes then add mushrooms onions and peppers back to the pan

Adding beef broth is optional

After 15 minutes cut fire off

In a bowl combine 1/3 cup of sour cream, 1/2 can of cream of mushroom and 2 tsp of flour

Add that to pan and stir in well

Boil egg noodles over high heat for 7-10 minutes, drain water and plate

    I made this and it was good but I poured in the wor sauce and that made it too salty but my family enjoyed it. Next time I make this I will pour off the wor sauce

    Solid recipe here…but I would personally like to tell folks that Amish egg noodles are a great addition. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with "normal" egg noodles…but the Amish variety is of relatively higher quality…without adding a ridiculous amount of cost to the recipe…
