How to make Quick No Stuff Aloo Paratha | Indian Flat Potato Bread Video Recipe by Bhavna

Perfect Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch Aloo Paratha Recipe.
I simply love them with Aachar(Indian Pickle) and Cucumber Raita(Spicy Yogurt)
Aloo Paratha (Stuffed Spicy shallow fried Mashed Potato Bread) is very popular breakfast among all generations of people across length and breadth of India.. Instead of stuffing however, I thought of preparing it quickly by adding mashed potato and spices directly with flour. This Aloo Partaha is filling and taste yummy when eaten with pickle and yogurt. A must try!!

INGREDIENTS:
Wheat flour 2 Cup (32 tbs) (1 1/2 – 2 cups)
Mashed potato 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Coriander powder 1 Tablespoon
Amchur powder 1 Teaspoon (or 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice)
Coriander cumin powder 2 Teaspoon
Green chili 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Garlic paste 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Carom seeds 1 Teaspoon (Optional)
Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon
Oil/Ghee 3 Tablespoon, divided (1 teaspoon for dough)
Flour 1 Tablespoon (For dusting)
Directions
MAKING

In a large bowl, add in all the ingredients and make dough.
Grease your hands with some oil and take a small portion of the dough. And roll between the palms; sprinkle some flour over the rolling board and roll. Thicker than chapatti.
Heat the flat pan and place the paratha; cook from both sides and in between smear some oil.
SERVING

Serve with some raita or achar.

Excellent for lunch boxes  I always add some chilli powder, kasoori methi, garam masala powder.  Next time i'll make it your style with garlic.  Thanks.

Looks great but you make it look so easy 😉 I bet it's hard to roll out so well like you. How come you don't use any water?

    Hiya Bhavna.
You are very creative, indeed! I enjoy cooking and entertaining too and always on the look out for 'fresh new' ideas! Thank you so much.
Just one more thing Bhavna: you have such a generous, great heart; you share your innovative ideas, unlike in olden times where the chefs used to keep their recipes 'secret'
    May you be blessed!

Wow Bhavna, you did it again. I made them and they turned out soooo good. The recipe is just perfect. Since I cannot eat wheat, I tried it with white corn flour. Like you said to add some yogurt and the dough turned out just perfect. They are so delicious that my grand kids cannot stop eating them. Bhavna you are genius. Keep it up and thank you so much once again.

Try with mashed sweet potato, they come out colorful. one cup mashed potato, one cup whole wheat flour.  Add 1 tbsp of oil ( optional ).  Rest is the same.

ur recipes are always a new different and easier version, just one little suggesion sometimes your measurement are like 1.5 -2 cups ? or 1-2tsp. i think for new home cooks sometimes even the smallest changes can make a huge difference, and sometimes unable to judge how much ? so more precise measurements would really help the new home cooks who aspire to learn cooking.  my cooker went brown on the outisde when i made cake in the cooker 🙁 didnt add anything inside, it was aluminium.
