How to make GUMMY FRUIT CANDY (recipe) – Cách làm mứt kẹo dẻo hoa quả

INGREDIENTS

500 fruits: pineapples, carrots, kiwis, berries, durians…
100 – 140 gram caster sugar – depending on your taste
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 – 3 Tbsp (30 – 45ml) simple syrup (see recipe below) or honey, corn syrup, golden syrup)
dried coconut flakes

* Simple syrup recipe:
– Add 100 g sugar + 100 ml boiling water into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil on high heat, stir well to help the sugar dissolve.
– When the water is boiled, add 1/2 tsp lemon juice (optional), reduce to lowest heat, simmer for 15 – 20 mins.
– Transfer to a clean bowl, let cool. We have about 150 – 170 gr syrup.
