I like adding raisinets to my popcorn.
Adding the baking soda creates a bunch of air bubbles in the sugar and if
you cook sugar with just a little bit of water to a hard crack stage, and
add the baking soda, it makes this awesome honeycomb like texture and when
it cools it’s like toffee with a bunch of air bubbles in it. It’s really
good dipped in chocolate!
Yummy! I love making homemade caramel popcorn. I add toffee chips with

It’s not carmel , it’s caramel.
Why bother putting it in the oven? Put it in the fridge instead, exact same
thing, much faster and easier!

Hi, Laura! Congrats on the new show! Unfortunately I cannot watch it,
because I am not in the USA, but I am sure you rock! I just have one little
comment on the series you upload on your main channel since the premiere of
Simply Laura. Everything since then is straight-forward American oriented,
containing ridiculous amount of calories and honestly recipies I would
never prepare. I know your style, I know you love good nutricious food,
keeping us healthy and strong, yes having a treat or two from time to time
(who doesn’t). But I really don’t understand the recent vibe, I hope you
know what you are doing! If most of your subscribers are Americans, go for
it, but you were born in Europe and you know that a snickers brownie
you cannot not find in any backery (fancy or not).
Can this caramel be used for caramel apples?
Hi Laura, i made caramel corn using these same ingredients. It was very
crunchy and tasty. But hours later it lost its crunch and became soft. How
can i make ot without losing the crunch.
