A fun way to get your ham, eggs and toast in one little bundle.
Found this idea in a magazine at the library (some kind of country cooking magazine) but didn’t make note of the name because this is really more a method than a recipe.
Cut crust off bread
Roll out bread as thin as possible with rolling pin.
Press flattened bread into well greased muffin tins. Brush bread cups with a bit of melted butter.
Bake bread cups at 375F for 5-7 minutes or until light golden brown.
Curl a piece of thin deli ham into the cup and add thin slices of cheese along the sides of the bread cups.
Break an egg into each cup (medium sized eggs probably work best)
Bake egg cups at 375F for 14-18 minutes until egg whites are barely set and still appear moist.
Remove from oven and immediately tightly cover with tin foil and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

I think this is pointless but watevs
I thank you for this recipe 4 years later! I just made this subbing out the
ham/bacon for some kielbassa, and sprinkling some garlic powder and chopped
green onions on top. DELICIOUS.
Looks ok. But I’d rather just make bacon plus “egg in the toast.” We like
our eggs over easy and this seems to cook them well past that. If you want
a harder yolk, might as well just pour scrambled eggs in it instead.
I made this this morning and it was GREAT!
I really like simple new breakfast ideas like this. Thank you.
Must try, thank you
that looks like a big waste of time i think ill stick to the traditional
way of doing them
I made these in a mini muffin tin. They came out looking so cute. You need
to try it.
Attempted this recipe and it was good but I cracked an egg and it fell onto
the counter
I make this every year on Christmas morning. Merry Christmas to you and
your family, Tammy. Enjoy 2015 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
Excellent! Or, should I say EGG-cellent? (;
I tried it and the egg cooks better if you just put the whole thing in the
oven at once rather than just the break first
nice )
why do you have to use the tin foil at the end?
Its 2015 now and im gonna try this 😀
you could also scramble the eggs and just pour a little into the cups if
you dont like sunny side up:)
Never salt an egg before cooking.
This is my all time favorite recipe by u the only thing I did different is
I used sausage links and let me tell u they were amazing
Do you think it’d work well for using scrambled eggs? I don’t find seeing
the yoke all that appitizing..
i made them, they are so yummy!!
That intro tho
