Easy Kettle Corn Recipe to Make at Home, a Popcorn Lovers Dream

Popcorn is one of those foods that just makes you happy. We love it so much that we went out and bought one of those old fashioned looking popcorn makers… It’s just a counter model but it’s fun to use and we usually end up making two batches every time we watch a movie.
My favorite popcorn is Kettle Corn, which is good because you don’t use butter, but bad because you do use sugar… I used to buy the kind that pops in your microwave but realized that, although it tasted good, it was full of preservatives and other unsavory things.
Speaking of savory, kettle corn is the perfect combination or sweet and salty and it’s much easier to make than one would think.
So next time you are curling up for a movie night with your family, make a little kettle corn. It’s sure to be a big hit and it just takes minutes to make.
Super Easy Kettle Corn Recipe
1/4 cup peanut oil
1/4 cup sugar
½ cup popcorn
Salt to taste
You will also need a large pot with a lid
This is so freakin easy that you’ll never pay for it kettle corn again!
Put the oil and just a couple of kernels of popcorn in the pot, cover and watch. As soon as the kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn and sugar. Shake the pan about every 20 to 30 seconds to coat the popcorn as well as to prevent it from burning and then every 5 to 10 seconds as the popcorn starts popping more.
Once the popping slows down, remove it from the heat and let it sit for a minute to finish popping…
Pour it in a big bowl and enjoy!

Just made this and it is awesome! Mine stuck together a little bit and it
did burn just slightly on the bottom when it began to get full, but I think
that’s just cuz I either used too much sugar or didn’t shake the pot
enough. But it tastes AMAZING! Thanks so much, I didn’t know it was this
    easy <3

market that’s been there for centuries. They also have a farmers market

and i would buy it by the bags. this taste just like it so thanks for this
