Food Ingredients:
cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 2 tablespoons melted shortening 1 1/2 cups sifted flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Nuts, raisins, nutmeg or Preparation 1 Combine milk, egg, shortening. Sift dry ingredients together and add to above. Gently drop teaspoons of batter into hot grease, 365 degrees. Drain on paper towels.
