Easy Cinnamon Rolls

Food Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/4 cup shortening 3/4 cup low-fat milk 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat oven 350 degrees: 2 Prepare 12 muffin cups: 3 In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder and cream of tartar. 4 Cut in the shortening until mixture is course crumbs. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add milk all at once. Using a fork, stir just until mixture is moistened. 5 Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead dough by folding and gently pressing it for 10-12 strokes or until dough is nearly smooth. Divide dough in half. Roll each dough half out into a rectangle. In a small bowl stir together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the rectangle, and roll. 6 Cut into 2 or 3 inch pieces and place in the muffin cups. 7 Bake for about 12-15 minutes.
