Great recipe Pasquale, did you ever try the chicken stock maker called
“Better Than Bouillon” I tried it and its sooooo good! It comes in a small
jar and its by the soup isle in the supermarket. Its soft too so it
dissolves instantly in the hot water! Try it you will love it!

Mr. Orsara,.. what your mom did to the rooster was make it a Capon… she
took out his testicals when they are younger birds, and so the male birds
don’t get the male hormones that can make the meat tough… that’s why they
grew bigger (fatter) and were more tender meat birds.. 🙂 Love your
videos, I think you are just the cutest thing.. Best wishes!

You’re right Chef Orsara, a soup loses its taste with spoon.

    No salt?

I’ve never put leeks in my chicken soup before, seems like a good idea. I
use some sage in my soup, not bay leaf.
A good home made from scratch chicken soup is the BEST when you have a
rotten cold. I also make chicken soup from left overs from a roasted
chicken. I separate the meat from the carcass and set the meat aside. Then
I put the skin and bones in some cheese cloth, bundle it up and tie it shut
like a hobo sack and I put it in the water like a big tea bag and let it
simmer in there for more than an hour to make the chicken broth. When I get
enough flavor in the broth I remove the cheese cloth bundle and I put the
cut up chicken meat I took off the bones earlier in the pot. Add the
veggies and other herbs and season to taste. Later I add either rice or
pasta and let that cook and the soup is done. Tastes so good. I’ve never
    had any complaints!
Next time I make chicken soup, I’ll try to remember to buy some leeks for
    it. :-)

I Love your channel and your recipes always!! Thank you Orsara!! This looks
so good! Where do we get the “chicken that lays no eggs”? ((smile)) Good
question, I never heard of this chicken before now. ~~ I truly appreciate
your cooking talents and the way you explain to all of us!

love it. GOOD fats (if it’s a healthy chicken with not antibotics), and
that stuff floating is fat and gelatin which is good for your bones and
joints. that’s why this guy is healthy

  16. moniQue Noriega

Making your recipe as we speak thank you such much Mr Orsara!

OOoooooooo soooooo gooooood!!! …and you’re right – it’s better to drink
the soup instead of spooning it….interesting with the burned red
onion…..I’m in love with you and your videos…..one question – do you
check the chicken bullion cubes for MSG?
