    You can always make adjustments to any recipe to make it yours. Try adding
    a vegetable and use Italian seasoning instead of dry mix or use chicken
    broth to replace some of the butter. It’ll all be good in the end and even
    better knowing you made it at home.

    Can probably sub the canned soup for a small package of mushrooms. Dice
    them, and then cook them in a pan with some oil until they’re tender before
    adding them to the sauce. I’m allergic to mushrooms so I can’t tell you
    with a certainty that it works, but it seems like the logical thing.
