‘Bleu’ can be pronounced differently. Here in Australia we say bleu as in
‘blehh’ it’s not a very attractive sound but if you wanna be fancy say it
like that haha. Great recipe too 🙂

Looks great Julie. “Try not to drown in a glass of water” I love that!! I
can probably use this phrase daily LOL. Thank you :)

cordon bleu means blue ribbon in french

A couple of the many reasons I’m a subscriber are 1. you aren’t afraid of
flavor/spices & 2. you put a decent amount stuffing in this dish. I
think that’s why I had mixed experiences when I ate it in the past (never
made it) too much chicken- not enough goodies. “You are in control
    not the toothpicks…”– priceless! ;-)

What a great recipe Julie, I really loved that Dijon mustard sauce you
made. You really shouldn’t serve chicken cordon blue without some type of
    sauce and yours looks amazing.

I was mesmerized. I love chicken cordon bleu. Why the bleu? Dunno!! YUM!

So fancy, and that crust looks amazing. This is one of those dishes I never
make because it takes the same effort as Chicken Kiev, but I think I’ll
give it a try. Variety is the spice of life after all. :)

  13. Andrea Lodden

Looks amazing! Love the little bit of advice, try not to drown in a cup of
    water

Cordon Bleu is a cooking school in France

Julie, I love a good gravy too and have never had chicken cordon bleu with
a sauce. The mustard sauce looks incredible – another must try for me. I
think the “cordon bleu” means that this is a “blue ribbon” or prize winning
    dish. xoxo

different kinds of dishes every now and then…which is how i came across
your channel. I just finished making this recipe and it’s delicious! Thank
