Cherry Pecan Cheesecake

Cherry Pecan Cheesecake

Food Ingredients:
2 cups crushed vanilla wafers 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 stick butter 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 3 eggs 1 pt. sour cream 3 tablespoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe preparation:
1 Mix together and pat on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan or use a springform pan. 2 Mix softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar. Mix. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla. Pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-23 minutes. Remove from oven. Turn oven to 500 degrees. 3 Mix together and spread over cheesecake. Return to oven for 5-8 minutes. Cool and top with 1 can cherry pie filling. Let set at least 8 hours before serving.
