    Looks delicious. My husband, from Guyana, makes a similar dish, but he
    cooks the sugar in the oil first. When the sugar this melted, he
    then adds the chicken to the pot — it is out of this world delicious.

    When I saw the title, I thought it said “brown stewed chicken hearts” and I
