My apple corer/slicer clamps to the table or counter. I am not a fan of the suction cut still…great video

Eric, thanks again – I'd always wondered what a crisp is and now I know! 🙂 Will be trying this on this side of the pond :)

Great video, I love making/eating apple crisp.

if you wet the black bottom, it may stick better. I have the same one. You can replace the sugar with maple syrup and diabetics will love you for it.
I like to dehydrate the apples, after slicing I put them in a bowl of water and lemon juice, then on the dehydrator screens. Then like now I can soak in water and cook with them.

My mom has a really old peel/slice/core gadget that has a clamp so you can attach it right to the table or counter.  I have the suction cup kind and it's not as good as the clamp.  Oh well.

Thanks for sharing. This has inspired me to try cooking this in a dutch oven over a campfire when my family goes camping next week. Can't wait!

Hi Eric…Difference between Crisp and Crumble: I think you call it Crisp when you add oats into your topping and you call it Crumble when the topping does not have oats in it. Laura Vitale once mentioned this in one of her Crisp/Crumble videos and I thought to share it with you :))

Great recipe! I love my peeler slicer gizmo. Mine has a clamp. It took me awhile to figure out an easier way to remove the core instead of pulling it off with my hand. You may know this, and I may just be slow lol, I pull the handle all the way back and it pushes the core off.

I love that your recipes are simple. I'm terrible at baking but you make me feel like I could make something great!

Great timing Eric! I have a lot of apples slices that I have in the freezer from our fall harvest and I was going to try to make something like this with them this weekend.

That apple peeler/slicer is AWESOME!.The main reason I avoid Apple bakes is because of the peeling and coring. Thanks for sharing!

I'm going to try this recipe but instead of using sugar… substitute it with honey to cut down on the sugar content. Looks so good and I hope it will come out ok.  Just love your dog… :)

This is reference to the letter about the dogs. Charlie Pup and Henry is what made me subscribe in the first place. you are very good at what you do and those dogs are family! Every time you post I look for the dogs, Charlie and Henry stay period! My Lab Butch had an upset stomach last night,so l took him outside where it was cool,he is fine now as long as he is outside. Have a great day.
