Aloo Mutter is the most commonly served Indian recipe in dinner. Chef Ruchi Bharani makes Aloo Muter, an Indian delicacy, which is widely made in Indian homes and definitely a delicious side dish which goes really well with chapatis, roti & parathas! Learn how to make this simple and easy to cook quick homemade gravy recipe!

Ingredients:
– 1 & 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
– 1 cup boiled Green Peas
– 2 boiled and diced small Potatoes
– 1 tbsp Cream / Malai
– 1 small piece Ginger
– 2 cloves Garlic
– 1 Green Chilli
– 3/4 tsp Garam Masala
– 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
– 3/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
– 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
– Salt
– 1 chopped small Onion
– 1 tsp Sugar
– 1 tbsp Oil
– Coriander Leaves

Method:
– Grind chopped onions, ginger, garlic, chilli in a mixer to make a smooth paste
– Heat oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and once its starts crackling add asafoetida and onion paste.
– Saute the onion paste till its brown and add the tomato puree
– Mix it well and add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, sugar and cook it for about 7 – 8 mins till its almost dry
– Add water to the paste and mix it well by adding some cream/malai
– Add green peas, coriander leaves, boiled potatoes and mix it and cook it for a while.
– The dish is ready to be served hot with any Indian Flat Breads

    a red thick purée
