Quick Microwave Vegetarian Pie (•‿•) ♥

Here’s a speedy and quick vegetarian pie–or loaf–you can make easily. I don’t give exact ingredients, because no pie I make will ever be identical to the last. However, you can get the basic recipe by watching my video. Experiment and see what works best for you. These loaves, pies, or whatever you want to call them, are certainly tasty enough; and made in a jiffy. They can be eaten hot or cold. Quite yummy!

On further reflection, it occurs to me that the mixture in my recipe could be baked in a more traditional oven.Of course, not in a plastic container, but in pyrex glass or metal or something;and I wouldn't know for how long it should be baked that way.Furthermore, you could also take the pie mixture and roll it into balls or patties, dust them in more breadcrumbs, or flour, and then cook them in a frying pan, or deep fry them in oil. I guess they'd then be called vegetable "croquettes" or sumpin'!

Still, microwave cooking isn't my favourite form of cookery, exactly. I'm glad our kitchen is almost finished being built, now!

Well, in the final event, ALL is energy.Microwaves are just part of the electromagnetic wave spectrum. As I understand it, they are just a sort of radio wave. Isn't heat from a fire just infra-red radiation? "…we experience this type of infrared radiation every day in the form of heat! The heat that we feel from sunlight, a fire, a radiator or a warm sidewalk is infrared." (I just looked it up!) So, yeah! Overcooking in the old fashioned way can "zap" out the nutrients, too. Moderation is key.

Yes, I seem to be able to live without meat. At least there are lots of free recipes all over the internet, nowadays. Check out my vegie burger playlist for lots of veg pattie recipes….

If we can live without meat, why are we still killing and eating animals? One day we will all be vegetarians

Almond and nut meal makes a change from the ubiquitous vegetarian lentils. You must grow some moringa trees for fresh green leaves–full of all the amino acids humans can't manufacture; plus vitamin C; calcium; potassium and more. Did a taste test and the fresh leaves are slightly hottish like radish; or raw cabbage; or cress; or watercress; or mustard sprouts. Useful green leafy vegetable to have around. I'm bringing all my potted ones indoors for indoor winter greenery. They look a bit ferny.
