Food Ingredients:
poor knights of windor 6 centimeters slc good quality dayold white bread 1 thick 2 eggs size 3 85 ml single cream 2 tablespoons sweet sherry 1 tablespoon oil 60 grams butter 1 tablespoon caster sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Recipe preparation:
1 Remove the crusts from the bread and cut each slice into three fingers. 2 Mix the eggs cream and sherry together. 3 Dip the bread in this mix in sugar mixed with cinnamon if wished. 4 Serve immediately with hot apricot jam sauce. 5 Makes 18 fingers
