Chocolate Brownies

Food Ingredients:
cup self raising flour 2 cups sugar 10 tablespoons cocoa 125 grams butter 4 lrgs eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla essence 1 cup choc bits 1 cup pecan or macadamia nuts 4 tablespoons butter, melted 7 tablespoons chocolate syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 3 cups icing sugar

Recipe preparation:
1 In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients in the first column until just combined. Pour the batter into a greased and lined 23cm. square cake tin or 20cm. X 30cm. lamington tin. Bake at 180c. for 35 minutes. 2 When the brownies are cooked, allow them to cool in the tin. To make the icing, mix all the ingredients in the second column and spread over brownies. 3 When the mixture is cold, dip a knife into hot water and cut the brownies into 3cm. square.
