Buttermilk Masala
Food Ingredients:
Ingredients: 1 inch of ginger chopped 1/2 teaspoon shahjeera 1 teaspoon pepper 1 sprig of curry leaves 1/2 cup chopped coriander 1/2 cup chopped mint 1 teaspoon sendha namak for tempering: 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon mustard 1 teaspoon cumin seeds of asafoetida
Recipe preparation:
1 Blend the first four ingredients in mixer to a fine paste without adding water, add coriander, mint and salt and blend again just for uniform mixing. 2 Season the mixture with the tempering ingredients. 3 All ingredients in the masala are good digestives. 4 Oil and salt serve the purpose of preservation too. 5 Mix 3tsp with 400ml of buttermilk.
