Is it me or mangoes really have some taste and smell of gas/gasoline? I tried many types of mangoes here in Australia and all of them had this taste.

Lately i've been cutting mangoes using a glass after i've cut off the cheeks. I just put the glass up against the flesh, as close to the skin as i can, and i scoop it out, and the whole thing lands in the glass, good for when you don't want your hands to get sticky :)
